Embarassed I took one off today for the MU.

I would STRONGLY suggest not recovering anyone with one of these eyes in stock form. They are only thinly welded on one side and the other is just plain metal.

It looks very likely that with a kinetic rope the 'hoop' would seperate from the mounting plate very easily.
