Hi all, I've bought myself a new headunit as tapes appear to be unavailable these days  Wink
Now the old tape player had been hard wired in using connection blocks but there is no diagram on the head unit or key to say what the wires are.

So.... Can anyone give me a key to what the different colour wires are in the standard loom so i can mate them up to the correct wires in my ISO plug?

The 4 pairs, - they are the speakers. The black earth, the red live, the orange memory (i think) and that should be most of them?

That's off the top of my head though.... for the speakers, use a chocolate block and a quick bit of trial and error will let you know which speaker is which.

If you've a multimeter, just check for a +12v - 2 of them should have it, and only one with the ignition switched off. They are the lives, the one with the ignition off is the memory.

unfortunately there is no isuzu wiring plug there or it would be easy. lol
I have red, black, orange, yellow, blue and grey wires can anyone tell me what they are or give me a link to a wiring loom diagram. It is the actual car loom im struggling with as opposed to the head units own loom.
thanks

Have you found the 4 pairs which have the pain wire on one and the tracer on the other? These will be the speaker wires, what else does that leave you including the above?
