I use Adrian Flux Insurance to insure my Trooper, my 1967 Chevy Pickup and my house! I can't praise their service highly enough.
Fo example, I insured my 91 Trooper 2.8TD with them, although my no claims is currently in use on my Chevy truck, because it's insured with them they allowed me to mirror my full no claims across to the the Trooper, so I pay less then £500 combined to insure a 1967 Chevy C10 pickup with a 5.7L V8 and my 2.8TD Trooper, both fully comp although the truck is limited mileage and agreed value. They managed to beat my house contents renewal quote even taking into account a burglary which the old renewal price didn't cover at that point.
Their service is very friendly and helpful. They are a broker so have access to a huge range of insurers. _________________ Phil

That no claims bonus only applied to one car is a complete scam - seeing as you can't physically drive 2 cars at once. Great that you have found someone to apply it fairly. Will give them a try come renewal (if I still have the 2 vehicles) _________________ 1999 Cougar with a NICE motor..

Hi folks,
Having sold the Bighorn two months after renewal, I contacted Adrian Flux insurance to cancel the policy and claim a refund on a pro-rata basis, as advised by their operative, (because they wouldn't insure monthly, pending the sale). To my horror, they will only refund less than 50% of the premium. I expected to pay a cancellation/administration fee, or similiar, but did not expext to get ripped off. It cost less to insure a £40,000 motorhome, than it did to insure the Bighorn, and it is with the same insurance company, NIG. But can I transfer my no claims through NIG direct to the other policy? NO Sir. Can I redirect the refund from NIG to offset the cost of the motorhome insurance with NIG? No Sir.
Would I insure with Adrian Flux again, or recommend them?.....Not b****y likely. .
Unfortunately, it is a shame that I depart on a lesser favourable subject, however the motorhome calls. My thanks to all for the interesting topics, info and banter, to name but a few. Jon Willy, Markyboy, Paul Rainbow, Shaun Griff, Fotograf (your english is better than my Russian), and all the others. I have pointed the new owners of the Bighorn in your direction.
All the very best.

Hi There Jock .... You Wee Scot .....
I can totally emphasise with your insurance dilema, having last week spent 2 days trying to sort out current insurance plus new insurance for my replacement vehicle ....... I had all the hassle and like yourself a problem transferring my NCB ...... plus I am 99.9% sure that the people I was dealing with reside in some far away holiday type destination and once you start asking questions which are no longer applicable with a tick box they are stumped, so our current insurers have just lost our 2 premiums.
Adrian Flux gave me an excellent quote until, I enquired about periods abroad within the EU, the extra cover and other little add on's soon took them out of the theatre....... I'm back with the Cornhill who I was with some years ago .... and I should practice what I preach when I say "An insurance is only as good as when you really need to use it " and the Cornhill some years ago were exceptional.
Sorry to hear your moving on and may I for my part wish you all the very best in your new endeavours and from one person to another who can also catch a dropped 50p piece before it touches the floor .. take good care .... One life this is it ... it's not a re-hearsal.
Kind Regards Jon.....and keep _________________ why is the bit of wine I like always at the bottom of the bottle |

If you haven't tried it, please give the Club Scheme a go!
In theory - you get a great deal - the club gets a small 'kick back'

Adrian Flux were the only company to qoute for my Bobtail, TPFT for £164.00 with all mods noted but limited mileage. Euro cover included, mirrored NCD & very easy and quick to arrange. They have a 4x4 department who asked all the right questions. They have my vote for specialist insurance _________________ 1994 KZJ70 Cruiser (currently filling the garage and causing some head scratching)

Just transfered the insuracnce from the Frontera to the MU, painless and no problems with it being a grey import. £35 increase in premium + £25 admin fee, also just got a quote for the monterey (due for renewal) £320 fully comp with all mods declaired and greenlane cover + curtosy car if need, going to be going with them at renewal time
Staff are polite, quick and as said above, ask the right questions... _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :

My premium with Provident came back at £283 +£10 if protected no claims wanted (It was close to 400 last year). If these can work on that a little i'll be happy. Gonna get a few quotes Club scheme included.

Dylan,
I've had no issues so far, never on hold more than a couple of minutes, staff polite...
The people most likely to complain are those which have been stung, I'm sure you'll find the same comments on every insurance company in the country. _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :

Right as i said i have had a renewal quote with Provident that comes back @ £283 split into 10 payments
Adrian Flux was £241 for the cover but with installments took it to £298.66
So i thought i'd try the Club scheme that came back at £403 basic cover (no legal/no protected ncb) ARE THEY MAD??? (Sorry Simon I did try)
I'm nearly 40 with 4 yrs ncb no accidents or claims and married with kids. I think because i deal with a broker in town i will be staying with them and going for the provident cover. I still think the £283 is a bit much but it dosen't look like i'm gonna beat it _________________
