I know some of you have done this to a 3.1, and in theory it's pretty much the same job on a 3.0, but I was just wondering if anyone out there knows the thermostat opening temp for a 3.0.
I have a twin set of fans off a Mondeo ST24 waiting to go on, and I'm going to use an X-eng in line twin switch in the bottom hose, I just don't know which intermotor temp units I should use.
I could take the thermostat out to find the setting, but experience has taught me that disturbing thermostat housings is something you do as a last resort.

Its 82c on the 2.8 and 3.1 from memory, I cant see the 3.0 being different? I think they set them to kick in at 90-95 and switch off at 85.
Maybe Eithan will know best as i'm guessing  Embarassed

they only have one fan so i think it starts to lock at the 57 degree point stays at that amount of lock until the 70 degree point until it gets to about the 87 degree point when it becomes fully locked in then stays there until the temp drops to 77 when the amount of lock starts to release gradually down to the 60 again where it holds it until 45 and is then fully released at about 41
