Got this from a friend

Quote:
Beware of emails that claim to be from either:

United Postal Service or

Customs Service

They talk about a package for you and have a zip file attached which they claim to be a form for you to fill in.

DO NOT OPEN IT

It contains an executable file which is a Trojan downloader.

We all know to be carefull but apparently this one looks very innocent  Rolling Eyes

He also said

Quote:
I spent all day yesterday trying to remove the virus from a PC. It stopped McAfee AV from running and I ended up taking the harddrive out and adding it into another PC so I could clean boot and scan the disc. Eventually i removed all traces but when the disc was put back I still couldn't install McAfee and now popups don't appear in IE.

Don't open attachments on emails from people you don't know, and scan ones you do... simple really?

Also, it kinda is that simple.

You go to the bank, the bank doesn't come to you, use that rule of thumb and you'll be fine...

For all those people who say 'I don't use any virus and a fire wall and I've never been infected, last week it was announced that on average a new XP build put on the internet is now infected in under 5 minutes (with no user interaction)
