Now this will undoubtably sound like a stupid question.. Embarassed ...but here goes....

I have a 1999 3.0 trooper which i've had for a year now, but i've just noticed that there is no flap in the bit you put the fuel in Shocked

I'm convinced that there used to be, but maybe i'm wrong.

Can anyone tell me if i'm just being thick??

If you mean a piece of trim that covers the fuel filler cap, then yes, there also should be a small lever between the seats with a picture of a fuel pump on to open it Wink

Worst case, na - the fuel comes from a pipe at the top, it'll drop to the bottom. You'll be alreet Wink

I thought the flap thing is to stop fuel being splashed out if there is no fuel cap.
