Hi Guys,
I've bought a rodeo today (2004) but the airbag light is stuck on. I don't have the manual so any help will be much appreciated!!

Hi check under the front seats - the seat belt tensioner plugs come loose - disconnect each in turn and clean if required the refit and cabletie together

Where about exactly are these wires, I've found 2 each side connected to the seatbelt insets but nothing on the seatbelt side?

Thats them they are on the socket side and small explosive charges pull the socket down and lock the belt when you have an accident - these are controlled by the airbag and if they work loose the light comes on - normally the drivers side when two different sized people drive and move the seat everytime

you could try discorrnecting the battery for 10 mins if this dose not work you will have to use the manual or tech2 to find the fault |

go to a dealer and get it checked out on the tech2 theres loads of things that could cause the problem |

I've been driving about for the past couple of weeks or so with my Air Bag warning light on. I just gave the yellow multiplugs under the front seats a good waggle and slid them in and out a few times and it seems to have fixed it.
(Just as well, because my "Check Engine" light has just come on. At least I still only have one thing to think about! ) |
