Quite simply your turbo spins at about 70,000 rpm
If you stop and turn off you are cutting off the oil supply to the bearings.
Never switch off your engine as soon as you stop.

Light driving: give it 30 seconds
Around town and short bursts of high speed 60 seconds
Long trips on the motorway and hard driving give it 3 mins to spin down and cool.

If you dont it will destroy your turbo  Sad
