hi there is there a water separator on this model? im not sure can anyone tell me.  cheers

At the bottom of the fuel filter, there's a small drain you can unscrew.

yes recently i changed my fuel filter because i run on biodiesel, at the bottom there a clear hose on it that runs away is this suppose to be connected to anything. when i replaced the fuel filter i was nt sure if i pulled it out of something, can you advise me further. thanks for your help

On mine the pipe just sits, doesn't plug into anything other than the bottom of the filter. I think it's to direct the drained fluid away from the engine bay and into a container below (driveway  Laughing )

Mine works, as in you unscrew the little valve and it drains from the bottom, and there's an indicator on the dash if it needs doing??

In fact it also works on the MU. What's wrong with yours?

Well I can't see what there is not to work, it's a butterfly nut with a hole through it !!

If you get water in the tank through being in a climate with a large temperature chance so that there's condensation in the tank or bio to clear some of the black sludge out which accumulates, to drain in case of getting petrol in the system.

Don't see it as usless myself...
