Well i have dissided that i am going to take my kids to see the lights at blackpool and wondered if anyone else wanted to tag along , have a brew and a chat ??
i am going on sat 1st nov , i will be there from about 2pm so i have enough time for a strole and fish and chips before the lights 
if anyone wants to join me that would be great but i am going anyway 
so if you fancy it let me know and ill get a list goin and we can arrange a meeting point. |

Jase... why not do the illuminations on the Friday and come to the BONFIRE on the Saturday... I assure you - you wont be dissapointed!!! Make a weekend of it

That would be the largest bonfire & fireworks display in the UK run by a scout group... it attracted over 7000 people last year 
p.s. Guys - can we keep on topic? Jase had a cracking idea of Illuminations

fare comment but then no longer is a cheap night out , it becomes an expencive weekend after the b+b and food ect comes into it |

How about both in one day, a firework display then the luminations or the other way round, luminations come on at 5pm and its only 30mins down the m55 m62 to chorley
Or luminations then stop at the park on the way home for some BBQ

give us a lift with building the bonfire/setting up the catering etc, you get free dinner (lunch for you Southern jessie's), give us a lift with marshalling/glow necklace selling/food stalls etc & we will throw in free tea (dinner for you southern shandies) & if you stay on for the security watch a free BBQ supper, stay overnight (camp/kip in't motor etc) & help out with the tidying up & we will throw in a free BBQ breakfast as well!

As for breakfast on Saturday, I know a great butty bar, easy to spot, it has a black Rodeo outside & the familiar ring of "CHRIS!!! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU HAD INVITED SO MANY PEOPLE!!!!!" coming from inside
