Well the insurance was looming on the Horn so time to shop around, I'm 41, fully comp, 10 yrs NCD, no convictions, 1 accident - nonfault (small peugeot decided to use me as a brake) and rural post code:- current insurer (at the time) Footman James best offer £301 & £300xs, Quinn £700+ ha, Adrian Flux £276, A-plan £290, club insurance (2gether) £334 and the one I took out was Autotrader Insurance £260 with a £50 xs
Bargain? a good price but we'll see what their service is like if another small peugeot tries to have a go!
