Hi All,
Just had the Trooper in for yet another service at a local garage... 60,000 mile service on a 3.0DT Trooper including a cambelt change came in at £247 inc vat & labour etc (48,000 mile major service was only £220)
The garage is located close to an ex Isuzu dealer and as a result knows all the pitfalls etc of servicing Troopers. Price and service are spot on and will get my repeat business.

Mine was in, at Robinson's in Rochdale, on Monday for a 120K service (same as 60K, inc cam belt) plus new front brake pads, a new oil-pressure sensor and a few bits and bobs such as freeing off a sticky (moaning again) rear brake caliper - for the princely sum of £650 in VAT.
The pads (Isuzu) and oil-pressure sensor are both £80odd plus VAT each and Robinson's (as most other franchise dealers) charge about £65 an hour (some Land Rover dealers charge £97 per hour!!!!). So, if we knock those off the bill and say an hours labour for fitting them and for the work on the rear calipers, the bill would have been about around £400. I also had a Rodeo Denver as a courtesy car for the day. I also know that Robinson's will jump though hoops for me if they need to. OK, it's maybe £150 over the top (less whatever it would cost to hire a Rodeo for a day) ............ but, maybe they make better coffee
Cheers
