Hi 'thurst bearing' and you may as well stick a new clutch plate in at the same time - i would go for manual - very nice cars and easy to maintain
cheers
Steve

you have bought a good vehicle , i would recormend isuzu parts only , i think autos are better my one is auto and i tow a horse box some times , i service my own as i am a vehicle technician and i change the oil every 3000 miles and only use shell vpower diesel as it gives me more power ,more mpg and runs cleaner

If you intend keeping it to the death then I wouldnt worry about Isuzu service history.
I wouldnt worry about a thrust bearing rattle, and I think a manual is best for all round use  Cool (can of worms)
Also I have the workshop manual for the Rodeo/KB if you ever need a page to do any jobs  Wink

There is a problem with rodeo clutch assembly. I had a similar symptom (see previous postings) in addition to which there was an intermittent rattle. I managed to get it sorted under warranty (just) the problem was something to do with weak or loose springs. The technical amongst you will probably know.
