putting engine oil in the fuel tank???

First thing fitter does when he come to service the 526 is put jug of engine oil in the fuel tank, seems to be his cure of all cures

Automatic transmission fluid works best. 2 litres of ATF for every 100litres of diesel in the tank. Liquid engineering. Only needs doing once per year at most.

Theres a few things on the market that are the same product but with a diiferent name depending on application  Idea

I can't see 2% oil in the fuel doing any HARM, but any idea what GOOD it's supposed to do?

I believe some folks start the day with a glass of their own urine, but.................. Rolling Eyes hilarious

The oil would help lubricate your injector pump and make it last longer, think you would be wasteing good oil in the 3.0l as has no injector pump or high pressure fuel pump.

IMO unless you are doing high miles the 2.8/3.1 body will go before the engine Wink
