Been getting poor MPG and I was told that the intercooler could be gunged up with oil from when my head went.

Took it off last night and soaked it in diesel, this morning there was alot of oil that came out the intercooler, it truck now feels more responsive but I have also blocked off the EGR valves at the same time as they were sooted up.

should I see any difference from the EGR's i.e less or more smoke from the exhaust? different rev etc?

Cheers
