ok guys another update...

had the 4x4 in the garage........the air filter done,by me
                                             the fuel filter done, by me

had the oil filter and new oil done at the garage
new glow plugs done by the garage.

she seems to drive a lot better now...however..........shes still very slow to start from cold and hesitant when driveing and stopping(doesnt tick over ) for the first few minutes then fine after that.

i tryed the ball bearing in the egr pipes(valve side) and put them back on the valves and this just made it sluggish,wouldnt rev past 3500,so i took the pipes off again and it revs through fine.there is a hissing from where the other end of the pipes go but if it only seems to be from one pipe?is this normal? i dont know that the garage had the injectors out or not as i dont think he has the equipment to check them etc.(could this be problem?)

anybody any more ideas?
