just had my renewal for my 1999 3ltd trooper and it's great at £230.00,thats fully comp protected no claims ect.
So I thought i'd declare my Abar and they wan't £100.00 pound more,so i've took it off and I think there having a
laugh. Sad  Sad  Sad

I was once told by someone in insurance that any car with even the slightest or smallest mod from standard then falls into the bracket of "modified" this then attracts a premium. So technically a performance air filter or non standard tyres will invalidate your insurance should you choose not to declare it.
