Hi all, im purchasing a 2001 3.0td manual and have been informed its an import from cyprus. i dont fancy living in the dark ages (tape player, no ipod connector) and am going to fit a new head unit, and later on amps and ancillary toys. my question is, does the stereo in this trooper have a standard ISO connector? or am i going to find some random shaped and sized connector in the dashboard? if im going to find a random, does anyone know where i can get a jumper lead to an ISO? or do i have to make one?

Cheers

Shealesy

Hi
Best bet maybe got to a local Halfords
they should be able to tell you if there is an iso fitment and what
makes of stereo they will plug into..
My troop can with an aftermarket kenwood ice package so i'm assuming
it was a plug and play fitment. (many wires to mess with otherwise)

I'm fairly sure my 3.1 was an ISO connector, I had to buy an adaptor for the MK but I seem to remember not needing it when I swapped the HU into the later one.
