if any one is thinking of using wvo
try this before u put it in ya tank
buy a gallon in a fuel can take it home and half fill 3 jam jars clean and dry ones
leave over night
if it is cloudy forget it far to much water in it and not filered properly still ***** in it or its been cut with thinners
if its browny red forget it its got red derv in it ( cherry )

Are you talking about putting WVO straight into your tank
One way of killing an engine I suppose.
WVO needs to be processed into 'propper' bio before it's safe to use in an engine. _________________ For great insurance deals on 4x4s, imports and more, contact Adrian Flux :

twin tank system as per their web-site and have had no problems . Car now has 225450 kms on it and has oil and oil filter changes every 5000kms . Engine
runs perfect . Used daily . |

Hi
i have used filtered waste vegtable oils in a varity of cars
1.8 diesel fiesta up to 80%mix and driven as a pool car by assorted heavy footed members of staff for 2 years (sold on to a member of staff who continued the fuel diet for a further 2 yaers before someone parked in the back of it .
2.3 Granada we relly tried to destroy this as an exercise and ran 75% all the time in the summer and backed off to 50% during the winter .Althouth the car was used for regular trips to Wales when it was warmed up on normal diesel (15 mins at tickover) filled to the brim with veg oil and driven straight to Wales the only thing we did in the winter was to fill up with derv when we got there. Sold on running fine after 2 years
3.1 Trooper %0% in the winter and more like 75% in the summer although will do the warm up and fill up routine when we go on longer journies
But filter the oil properly remove as much water as possible and we always fit an extra filter housing (FORD CAV ESCORT ) cheaper and easier to change filters .Always change these regularly and carry spares . |

Just bought a 3.1 1993 trooper and was looking at the svo option.
searched around and cheapest I can get is about 85p per litre, even at a wholesalers
I know deisel is up around 105p
but what happened to the old 50p a litre veggie oil _ inflation!!!!!!!!!!! |
