hi
wow i am actually responding to a fellow troopers ails and not moaning myself,i have had a few problems myself but lets not digress first of all contact gribble and the gurus they will help, however i had this problem myself and it turned out to be the rail sensor which i was told you could test by taking out the white wire on the plug near the erg valve and the dipstick, hope this helps but i am sure one of the trooper gurus will help.regards Neil.

Also possibly fuel running back to tank from head, try parking on a hill bonnet down, also oil strainer seals may be giving up,extra 2 litre of oil over normal full mark on dipstick will prove/disprove this, best not run it with extra 2 litres, just to prove a point.Trawl thru posts on these subjects  Wink

echoing what robbo said really so try clamping off the return pipe after your last journey, if it starts ok the next day you need the one way valve fitted
