I read with interest the post from Dave in Newcastle regarding his fuel tank leak thinking it very similar to something going on with my 3.1D BIGHORN right now. However, the apparent leak when vehicle is tilted forward coincides with it becoming immobilised when tilted to the right by camber in the road (when parked) which is not only irritating but slightly worrying as I don't want to get stranded somewhere. I am convinced I may have the same or similar leak but does anyone know of any interlock with the starter - presumably as a safeguard against airlocking the system?

there is no connection between the immobilser and the fuel system it seems you may have two problems here the fuel leak find the leak and repair or replace the immobiliser problem need more info as to what happens

Thanks Grandad,

I didn't realise I had put the issuie where I did. I will re-post it in tech as you suggest (still learning).

Meanwhile my mechanics agree with the conclusion that there is no electrical connection - don't you just hate it when that happens? It has, of course cleared the electrical fault. No doubt waiting for me to be lined up at the front of the cross-channel ferry with everybody behind me in Calais as the doors open!!
