Hello,

Sorry my 1st post is a question Very Happy

I've got a 94 SWB 3.2 Trooper and the steering has a bit of play in it. The wheel moves a bit before actually doing anything, nothing major just a bit loose.

Are there any common faults that cause this?

Thanks

when the vehicle is stationary check how much movement at the rim of the steering wheel before the roadwheel starts to move up to30mm freeplay is the maximum if you have more then all the track rod ends need to be checked for wear if worn replace if ok steering box needs to be adjusted
