I have just got back from the Derv Doctor in Ashbourne - and boy have they sorted the Bighorn!! Boost upped to 14 from between 10 and 11, and the fuel pump sorted so there is no overfuelling.

Also fitted a new diesel filter and a dose of industrial strength injector cleaner - and the beast is rejuvenated!! All for just under £190 including the VAT.

Power is well up (and they say they will up it more if I want for the cost of me driving over there if I really want more - which I don't) and the torque appears better from low down.

Know I'm a newbie on here but these guys are worth a visit - and for half the price of VanAaken! - plus there a really good caff round the corner...

Yep, I've heard great things about them, mainly from Peugeot owners which is what they started out specialising in. To me Van Aaken seem to be charging a shedload for their name now.

Think you might be right - plus if you are not happy with the performance increase - go back to the guys in Ashbourne and they will tweak it to the max!!!

I wanted tractable power across the band and this is exactly what I have got - I can't recommend these guys highly enough

And if you scan through the likes of Max Power you will see they have a good reputation amoungst the cruisers and modders - who I am told can be very difficult to please...

What year is your bighorn stanners?
Do all bighorns have the electronic fuel pump, I know mine has??

My bighorn either over fuels or under fuels because every now and then I get a very loud knocking noise Confused

Its a 93 - on an L plate in this country.

Would suggest you go and see the guys at Derv Doctor - they will be able to help...
