Hi all. I am looking to purchase a second hand LWB Trooper, Petrol or Diesel, manual or auto but have been told that around 1999 there was an engine change that meant a less reliable motor.... can anyone help with info about this? Also are there any models/years that should be avoided/aspired to? Thanks!

Personally I would avoid the 3.0D as it has issues that cost a lot of money when they go wrong, the rest are great  Cool
If you do go for one thats later than 98 then I would go petrol, this is just my opinion and the majority of 3.0's will most likely never have issues.
