just wondering mine is a 2000 3.0 trooper noticed last week small spec of grease on the boot this week its split all around.
any good brands dont want the one you just place over the top then tie wrap lol.
i kno its going to involve removing the said drive shaft as its the hub end not dif lol

i used blue print ones they come complete ,i did mine about a month ago ,and i also put a new bottom ball joint on because i didnt want to be taking it all apart again ,it might be worth getting one just in case .

it was the garage that did the bottem ball joint before we got it and think it was them that caused the split lol.
with the blue print ones do you need the cone type tool to get it on

no,you dont,you take the inner joint off the end of the shaft and slide them on the shaft.

got the boot today wasnt a blueprint but seams a good one. when i take the drive shaft out is it just a case of knock the cv joint of the shaft or is there any clips i need to undoo to get it of just to confirm as dont want to break it. its a 2000 3.0

there is a circlip on the end of the shaft holding it on ,when you pull the shaft out of the inner cup there is also a wire clip in the cup holding the joint in
