Firstly Hi to all newbie to this forum.

My 3.1 swb is loosing coolant via the overflow.

Can anyone tell me if it is a common problem with 3.1 for the rad cap spring to wear, allowing water to be pushed into the overflow tank and then out of that via overflow, I know this is a common fault with Mitsubishi Shoguns.

I have checked for all the usual signs of blown head ie: gas bubbling through the water and oil in the water, with the rad cap on the top hose doesnt have any pressure in it.
