New Bigfoot Owner, Driving home this evening and have lost power steering!! Fluid OK. Could someone advise me as to what this could be?? Thank you

bigfoot? what year and engine diesel or petrol
is the belt tight

Sorry, it's diesel 3.1 and sounds like fan belt is slipping at times. Think it's 97

tighten the belt off the power steering pump, check the alternator belt is tight cos if that throws off you lose your water pump too!
