I have a post running regarding problems I m having with my 3.0 citation when first starting which is cylinder/ injector related. recently did oil change and changed the larger filter I have the small filter here to do but not got around to it as yet - I have noticed a lot of posts saying that this smaller filter is connected to the pressure for the injectors. While we are trying to get to the bottom of the problems waiting for iszu to get back to me would it be worth changing this filter - running improves as the car warms up so would tie in with the oil being thicker when first started. Can someone please explain what this second filter is for and advise. The owners manual says that this filter does not need regular changing ???? Also I have queried the semi synthetic / fully with the dealer they say they always use semi which is what we put in at the change

the filter is for the injection system and is changed every 24k, semi is ok just change it a bit more often as it breaks down quicker so the best is fully really
