Will be heading out over the Dales one day over the coming Easter hols / Bank Holidays. If anyone is interested in tagging along I would make a full day out of it. Would probably start from Scotch Corner services on the A1, finish near Hawes. I know these things don't get much support with everyone being spread out across the country etc but would be good to see a few Troopers out. I'm flexible on day at the moment - pm me if you're interested. |

Did a lot of them this Sunday, West Cam, Beggarmans Lane, Bob Lane, Stalling Busk etc, Started at Hawes and finished at Settle, big round trip and a nice day out.
Last time we were up there it was flooded badly, so I wanted to take a measure of the footbridge at Stalling Busk, as the water was coming over it by at least a foot, the bridge is 4'6", so the water must have been 5' deep, it was gushing over the protection hump and the field was flooded.

last time I was at Stalling Busk it was badly flooded as well! Maybe not quite as bad as that though! Should be no drama there now if this weather keeps up! |
