Hi all iam new to the forum..

iam seeking to buy a 4x4 this week for towing and troopers are new to me iv always used other 4x4s
iam going to be towing a carvan weighing 1670kg twin axel that i have bought and wondered if a 3.0ltr T/D SWB TROOPER that iv been offered would Tow this or will i be better with a lwb? i will also be towing a 16ft tri axel trailor with 2ton of timber on it on a weekly basis,

Any body advise me on troopers and towing plz?

Thats a walk in the park for the 3.0, I think the SWB is plated to tow 3300kg, thats more than most 4x4's in its class  Smile
And with about 160bhp and loads of torque you wont know the caravan is there.

thank you for your reply...i was just woried that a swb will nod and bounce a little with my 16ft flat bed when fully loaded?
or
sit down at the rear with the 22ft caravan on it?

It will only sit down if the coils are weak, this is my 3.1, the trailer isnt loaded there but it didnt go down much when it was.
