Hi Guys, these guys fitted my autobox on the trooper today. Real nice guys who I actually count as friends now as well as my "grease monkeys" It's Cuthbert Auto's, Cuthbert Bank Road, Sheffield, S6 2UE Phone Phill 07783 218073 or James 07713 637213 Just say Paul with the Trooper told you to call and they'll see you right. Local gearbox specialist told me £250 to fit the box Phil told me £300 but as they knew me and I told them where I'd been told £250 they actually matched it. The more you deal with them the better the price gets - as they know you'll come back! They do all 4 of ours now. Laughing

Thanks buudy, I know you've been keeping an eye on this, they are rather nice when working right are they not. Mrs is now talking about sel;ling her volvo and getting a diesel manual, I told her to wait a bit and she'll get mine, but then I get roasted about not looking on the bright side - I think she's just afraid of the insurance and fuel costs on the petrol. What does she need to keep an eye on when buying the diesel manual? Anyone out there wanting an autobox and transferbox which slips at low revs in 3rd? My garage has my complete box sat on their floor if you give 'em a bell I'm sure they'll be happy to sort something with you. It has the wiring loom, fuel pipes, torque convertor - everything bar the speedo drive which was missing from the new box - I'm not selling it admin, just pointing anyone who needs bits in the right direction - like I said it aint for sale, it's sat waiting for the scrapman - not mine anymore.
