Just been given a laptop that "wasn't working"  Rolling Eyes .
Not surprising really, it had 2 Trojans on it, 5 viruses, and about 50Gb of temp. files, not to mention all the broken links  Rolling Eyes
Several hours cleaning it up, an overnight defrag and I've got myself a pretty decent machine  Cool .   I've now got 1 PC and 2 laptops, all running different versions of Windows though  Rolling Eyes

No wonder my head hurts  Laughing

It's amazing what people throw away.

Was given a PC about 6 months ago which was apparently "too old to fix". Turns out it was running three anti-virus programs which once removed, ran like a charm. Offered the computer back to the lady but she'd already bought a new machine  Rolling Eyes

This one had Norton on it, which just goes to prove what a total waste of space Norton really is  Rolling Eyes . Give me AVG anyday.

Found a brilliant program remover online called Revo uninstaller. Get's rid of every single trace of a program  Cool .

The other one that's full of viruses is Google Chrome. God only knows how a company as big as Google can get away with putting such a *beep* product on the market  Shocked

I got tired of Firefox crashing all the time, so am using Google Chrome now. I've not had any virus problems yet, fingers-crossed Laughing
