Hi, i have a 93 trooper, it has play in the stearing it has farely new ball joints n bits, is there any way of tightening up the stearing to reduce the play ? i.e. adjustment on the stearing box ??

Yes there is an adjustment on the steering box, you will see ascrew in a lock nut, slacken the lock nut and turn the screw clockwise 1/4 turn, lock the nut and check the steering wheel play with engine running, and adjust agin if needed, don't go mad or you'll *beep* ther steering box.
