hi it was hot when it did it just done 90mile trip called to a shop for a sandwich came back would not start
pump the primer made no difference at all aa man came easy start started up got home started up this morning running fine
but cant trust it will a tech 2 show it up on the machine it had new injectors in last month and wiring plus other parts fitted for this job £998 warranty repair
form duckworth landrover if i cut the yellow wire can i leave it like that thanks andy |

No its just a test for not starting . If its ok now it may be fuel running out the head they do that sometimes easy fix make the fuel return pipe longer so its above the head ,breaks the syphon effect .
Tech 2 will show if the ropcv is working ok if the techs good with it . Its done by commanding the valve to move x % and see if it responds right and looking at the live data figures on start up .
Some members on here have there own tech 2's so maybe you could get a cheaper test ,depends where you are. _________________ 2 New Troopers ! |

The OBD plug is under the gearchange cover just back from the clutch pedal ,no tools needed to get it out . _________________ 2 New Troopers ! |

hi found the plug tried a eobd machine but would not read it but been running fine since will be giving it a oil change it could help it if it does it again then will be getting checked in the dealers monday for a recall on the ceramic heater
hope they could put the machine on and tell me what it wants doing as they allways like looking for work |

its now will not run fires up on easy start runs if you rev it but will not tick over thanks andy |

Tech 2 needs to be read with live data.....just checking dtc's is not the answer.......
