Hi all

My four wheel drive light comes on while driving along in two wheel drive, and you can hear it trying to get into four wheel drive. We replaced the transfer relay and it sorted it for about a week and now it has started again. Anybody know why. Help needed.

I forgot to say that it's a Isuzu trooper 3.1 diesel manual.

Is it the axle or the transfer box trying to go in ? also what years the car as there are differences on the set ups ?

I really don't know anything about vehicles but I've been lead to believe it is the transfer box making a noise while trying to go onto four wheel drive. The year of registration is 1998.
