Hi all,

Been having a few issues with my 3.1 over 2.5k rpm.... it coughs/splutters and just doesnt want to go.

Its on 50/50 diesel/veg oil - but even on 100% diesel, its still hesitant.

Feels to me like fuel starvation...

I've fitted a new filter and replaced all fuel pipe clips - no different.

I've been reading up - it could be few things I think, blockage in delivery pipe, in tank gauze filter blocked, holes/rust on the top of the tank where the delivery pipe connects on or simply the fact that the delivery pipes is too small diameter and doesnt like the thicker veg oil...

I have read that the tank is a *beep* to remove - due to how the nuts/bolts are situated holding it in.

My plan...
Cut a hole in the boot floor and drill a hole in the top of the tank - then feed in a larger diameter pipe so it sits just off the bottom of the tank... then run that underneath all the way to the injection pump.

I'd seal round the pipe best I could, and weld up the boot floor - or fit a rubber grommet in case i need to access it again.

any pointers or input?

cheers
