We have the TFS55 2.8TD pick up.  We have just replaced the following:

Air Filter
Fuel Filter
Emptied water separator
Oil Change and Oil filter

She started initially but would not tick over and give full revs, then engine cut out and would not start again.

You can suck fuel through past the fuel filter but wont retain fuel in the water separator or filter.  Just wondering if air could be getting into the system before the water separator.

Thanks in advance

Check the drain screw on the water separators good and tight , as it will pull air but not drip fuel . Also did you take off the old seal ring ?

My favorite trick to test know all apprentices and some ' fitters ' is slack this screw off a a bit and see if they can find where the airs getting in  .  Very Happy
