Can some one please tell me what colour should my gear box oil should be for my Bighorn 3.1 TD
and what sort of oil should I use

Assuming it's a manual I think it just uses normal engine oil rather than gearbox oil. My MK 1 2.8 does, I just use 10W40 from my local motorfactors in it.

It is for the gear box and it is a automatic

If its an auto then it'll be ATF, it's usually red/pink, if it's brown or black then it needs changing.

the oil you need is dexron II ATF
