I guess you mean for the rear as it wont move that far on the front ? Problem as I remember it was that the 3.0 uses a large pin mount and not many make a long shock with the big eye so you have 4 ways to go at it .
You can buy some procomp ones like a ES924500 and use some hydraulic hose instead of the normal bushes bit of a bodge but it works well - I did it
Cut off the 3.0 mounts and drill/weld these on top and bottom 181244922294 the you can put most eye/eye shocks on .
Cut off the 3.0 mounts and make up some pin type shock mounts for some TF122 with these 170840243438.
Search online as some American and Australian 4x4 places do do them as a bolt on item but they wont be cheap .
Only thing to remember is that 5" plus means a longer shock body so you lose up travel unless you move the top mount up as well .
Dont forget your dizzy cones too _________________ 2 New Troopers ! |

You'll also need adjustable trailing arms as on full flex the axle will be well forward. _________________

You'll want adjustable top link too, do you need +5" shocks? As Mr G says you may need to move the top mount too. _________________ landcruiser 80 series 4.5, 35's/33's for road, 2inch lift, discreet winch, sliders/armour, factory lockers, stainless side exit +++++ |

Will the rear prop not rub on the cross member if you have that much droop on the rear axle?
Mine has +3s and its pretty close at times! _________________ Frank |

I remembered about these , they are for a Toyota Tundra or something but they go 27.5 " eye to eye open and have 10.5 inches travel and the mounts hole 19.5 mm so might be a bolt on job ? Came off eebynowt at a ton delivered which is not bad for new bilstiens not sure what the damping rate is but they dont feel too stiff for offroading

48mm x 5mm. I've still got some if you don't want to buy a full length. _________________ 2000 3.0 Trooper Duty swb |
