|
|
Hi,
I've got a MK1 Shogun that's got a knackered fuel tank. I can't find anyone that does a replacement, except Mitsubishi who want £400 for a new one.
It looks like the trooper tank might be a suitable(ish) replacement, but I can't find anywhere that has the tank's dimensions.
Does anyone have one kicking about that they could do me a huge favour and measure the length/width/height for me please?
Are there any differences between the petrol and diesel tanks? It looks like it's only diesel ones that are available, but I don't care if it'll work for petrol.
Thanks
Jon |

petrols have a 12v pump in. not a bad thing to have on a diesel, very handy for priming lol _________________ www.independentisuzu.co.uk |

Thanks,
I don't think my tank has a pump in it, just a sender and a pick up tube. I'll check tomorrow. So if the size is right, I may get away with a trooper tank. I might have to relocate the filler neck though, as it's very rearward on the shogun. |

If it's your tank that's knackered, but the rest of the gubbins are okay, you might want to hop over to fleabay _________________ LTM: 000136

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately that's not the right tank. I guess it must be for a LWB model. Mine is quite different. |

Do you still need the trooper tank dimensions?
I've got my old tank in the shed, I can measure and take pics if needed _________________ 1999 3.0 TD Duty SWB
