hi this is my mk1 replacement a few on will already know it and I'm hopefully going to Finnish off where "darrenh" left off and put to good use its been through a couple owners since.

This is a sump guard that was on eebuygum and is meant to be a oem isuzu guard, by the way its made i would say it is and fits well to the winch bumper its as if it was made for it i only needed to drill two holes. It was needed because the original was missing and as you can see in first pic the sump and anti roll bar were very exposed.

This is a storage box i made I'm no carpenter, so its a bit amateurish and was using some left over trailer flooring so had to work with what i had it holds everything i carry for offloading except my shovel. I bolted it down using the existing tie down points in floor and will make some sort off latch to stop the lid opening if the worst happens (hopefully not needed).

I bought a winch for my old trooper i never got round to getting fitted it came with a winch rope so fitted that

Ive got plenty more planned Theres not much to do mechanically, the cam belt is probably overdue for a change time wise so thats next, the exhaust looks like it won't last long and needs a couple patches of weld but on the hole very solid. Rocksliders are on there way in a couple of weeks hopefully they've been measured up today and then iv got to decide what to do with the rear bumper theres still the other winch sitting there doing nothing  Very Happy but not sure if it will get enough use to warrant extra weight and fitting.

Had the cam belt done, i serviced it and changed the the rear axle oil. The diesel pipe brackets weren't great some were breaking and the pipes were moving about quite easy so I've moved them to on top of chassis and jubilee clipped them in place.

Took trooper off roading for the first time to yarwell quarry. Im impressed with the extra power the 3.1 has compared to 2.8 makes climbing hills much easier, must say the mk1 are a lot easier to see out of and see what is in front of you.

This was another trooper there they were a lively bunch
