Just got my letter through the post this morning. All I've got to do now is find a dealer that actually knows what they're talking about with this motor, considering my local dealer insisted the 3.0 only had one oil filter .
That and the fact the heater recall was never done on mine, even though it shows on IM's system that it has been done . _________________

Got mine through the post today as well. It says 'to replace a harness connector for the vehicle's ceramic cabin heater, modify the wiring harness for the Throttle Position Sensor & to check the serial numbers of the diesel fuel injectors fitted in order to ascertain if they require replacement or can be left in place'!!
'Our data base indicates your Isuzu to be outstanding one or more of the recalls detailed above' !!
I will be struggling to find a dealer near me I can trust!!!!! _________________ Never let a meal go by----Empty sacks dont stand up!!! |

Hi Twister, you found a decent dealer up here?
I have a 3.0 that has just had the recall notice too but have never used any of the dealers before... _________________ Frank |

Frank, I rang J.W Rigby in Marton (between Macclesfield and Congleton), and the guy on the phone seemed to know what he was talking about, so I'm going to give them a try. He said there's about a 2-3 week wait for the parts when I spoke to him. _________________

OK Cheers,
There is an Isuzu Dealer in Warrington which isn't far from me but I don't know anything about them...
I might just give it a go and see what happens, I don't really want to drive too far for it _________________ Frank |

Rang them first, and the guy was dead honest with me and told me they didn't really know the Trooper as they're a Isuzu commercial dealer, and I'd be better finding another dealer. _________________

I don't know about the other 2, but I'd avoid the one in Ashton, they've only been Isuzu dealers for about a year, and they are totally clueless. _________________

Fair enough then - looks like it might be a drive out.
Its a Trooper we have neatened up for sale so I don't want it to get any faults after we have fixed everything. It would be nice if it needed a new set of injectors _________________ Frank |

Spoke to my local dealers in Norwich (Dingles) to check them out. I only need the TPS wireing mod. The service manager sounded like he knows his stuff. They are going to ring me when the parts are in and book me in. Even going to give me a courtersy car. Never even got one of them when I had me injectors done. _________________ Never let a meal go by----Empty sacks dont stand up!!! |

Well I am still waiting on a call from them. Couldn't get through to the service department so spoke to someone on main switchboard. No one can confirm if the part has been orderd or not. I have lost confidence in them before they even start. !!!!! _________________ Never let a meal go by----Empty sacks dont stand up!!! |
