2 weeks   and i am still haveing the same problem

How tight is this thing?

as it has a thin hex,  and i have a dog leg 1 1/8 as well as a ring and an openender.

both i can get on  but thay want to roll off?

what do you guys use?

Can't remember if its 27 or 29mm ring spanner.  Bit of a squeeze, put the spanner on and give Iit a sharp wack with mallet. Worth removing a few thing to get proper access.

There is a sticky on this in engines by some bloke .  1 1/8" combo spanner ring end should work ok its not very tight . try to get one thats just got the slight  offset not a dogleg one .

ok  picked up a 1 1/8   ring and openender  today

will take the grinder to it and shave down the ring a bit  to get some more bite

see how that goes
