I know you can lift these 2" no problems on the body but can you do a 3" lift on a LWB 3.1 without changing brake lines and all that?

Its a lot more complicated than 2".

I have a 3" lift on my Mk.I. I had to remove the QWS actuator on the exhaust (not an issue on later models), battery earth. re-position fuel, clutch, and brake lines.

The major thing you will have to do is extend the lower half of your steering column by 1 1/2" or you run the risk of it disconnecting while driving.
