Having used these loads in the past... I'm quite into my VW's...  They now offer parts for most makes and models... I'ts worth looking at their website as some of the prices are very very competive and include the VAT and free postage over £50... Worth a look chaps. Euro Car parts

I called in there for a main oil filter last week - just under £12 - usually get Milners ones but needed one quickly and was passing.

No Idea why Euro Car Parts are being 'promoted' here...  Yes, they ARE handy and their prices are 'ok'.  But I for one have certainly had issues with the quality of parts supplied.  3.1 Thermostat for instance jamming shut! Completely different type to that supplied by Milners etc  And much cheaper; but not worth the risk of a damaged cylinder head!

I've also had issues with parts for my Porsche 924, My S-Type and the wife's Polo...  Fit/quality etc.  They're just an average motor factors IMHO.

If you order on line you normally get the choice of part from different manufacturers with varying prices depending on quality I suppose, not sure how good the most expensive is though.

Another point...  Has anyone else been getting their somewhat 'desperate' marketing emails?

Seems like every five minutes there is an 'excuse' for them taking "up to 50% off"... Followed by grave warnings that the offers are about to end... Followed swiftly by another 50% off offer...

Doesn't really work for sofas; but for car parts? -Tends to suggest their marketing department doesn't really understand the market or merketing.  A bit amateurish...  And - as someone who works in a marketing-related field - tends to cause me to wonder if they're in a bit of trouble?
