As part of my general tidy up/service of my new truck i noticed that the PAS fluid is bright blue...

From what i can gather, this engine uses normal "ATF" style PAS fluid, which is typically red. Any ideas what this blue stuff might be?

Ok so evidently i'm a muppet.

Sucked some of the fluid out with a syringe, and it comes out brown and smells like ATF.

Heres a photo of the bottle:

Really looks blue! Must be some optical effect with the plastic or something!

Its still very odd that it looks blue in the reservoir though!
