Well have had intermittent starting problems for the last week. Today did not start at all. I have cut the white wire and she started. It dosent seem to have as much power as befor and ticks over a little bit lumpy. So am I correct in saying that if I can find somewhere to buy an oil rail pressure sensor, then things could be O K ? Its a 2001 trooper with the 4jx1engine 3.litre. thanks in advance if any one can help please.

yes it does sound like it needs a new one, remember it needs to be zeroed on tech2 to run at it's best when fitted, it will run if you just fit it but it could be over or under fuelling.

Thankyou eithan, is it easy to fit do you know? and I have no chance of purchasing one out here, so can you tell me where I could get one in the U K please. And as for zeroing it in on a tech 2, the Bulgarians would laugh at me if I asked for one.Any sugestions are very gratefully received.

milliners is about the cheapest place over here to get one, and they are easy to fit it's just under the rocker cover but you will need a ground down 14mm spanner to remove it with out removing the injectors
