Hi all , I have an anti theft system on my 2001 trooper and am beginning to wounder if that is preventing me from starting my trooper? I turn the ignition key and all of the dash lights come on but when I turn the key to crank the engine , nothing happens? I have had this symptom befor , but it just went away and all was good for a few days until now. Has any one any idea please.It will start with a short tow ,now problem.

have you checked for a feed at the solenoid on the starter when you go to crank it over?

Thanks again Eithan,iam going to try to see if there is any power getting to the solenoid this afternoon. It is such an in accesable place, I don't know yet how on earth I am going to be able to clip anything on to test it? But here goes. Rolling Eyes
