After all the grief my 3.0L has given me, I inadvertently put in 5/30 semi-synthetic oil and was running like never before. rrevving freely, seemingly more power etc etc. I have now put fully synthetic back in as recommend, but really notice the difference again. Struggling to rev over 3k and a lttle sluggish. If the recommend oil is fully synthetic, why does mine seem to like the semi stuff better. _________________ On victory, you deserve beer, on defeat, you need it. |

Curious that the late 3.0 euro 3 I did the map on was on 15/40 mineral oil and it went real quick.
But he did a change to 5/30 fully synthetic and no change in performance . _________________ 2 New Troopers ! |

Robbo has suggested that I tech 2 it to see what the control valve is up to. Gonna do that at the weekend, before and after I put some semi stuff back in. Just to see if ithe performance gets better again. _________________ On victory, you deserve beer, on defeat, you need it. |
