I removed the intercooler thingy to find the oil leak and found a breather pipe i think that was  not connected i am hoping this is the cause

Oil change and filter change , Drained the oil that was easy now the filter hammer and screw driver took the filter up the way oh no it does come out that way,
i then tried out the bottom oh no that way
I then worked it past brake pipe an out under the wheel arch wtf?

Then went to fit new oil filter an guess what

Wrong filter it say 2.8 on box but the thread hole was smaller diameter it on axle stand with wheel off awaiting a new filter lucky mates coming over can get a lift to get another

Original trooper rims don't have enough offset u need frontera a series alloys Toyota surf shogun /pajero or some sought of modular rims I've got wellers for mine when I go larger tyres there is other type of rims but more than likely 15 inch all the above I listed are except modulars I think later jap stud are more likely to be 16's

Runs great on the 235/70/16s on the stock alloys sits nice on the road an get 25-2800 rpm at 70mph.

Right the badge on the front grill   it says japanese automobile federation (JAF) i think its the japanese version of the AA.  Its made of metal . After all this time i decided to have a google to what it was

I will have to get the badge off an restore it to its former glory as it has weathered all the paint has came off  it is supposed to look like this
